In part 1 I documented the ‘come hither’ fake job and the many anomalies that crop up in the conversation with the scammer. On the money side, the job rate has already been dialed down from 600 to 114 USDT. Read on for the veil of work that’s offered…
So its 3 sets each of 40 tasks. And the task is ? We will come to that. But note that you need to contact the platform to do something called reset the task which means offer you work to do and to do the reset you need to have US$101 in your wallet ? Well in this training session I have 2494 USDT, a cryptocurrency notionally held at dollar equality, which assuming they accept USDT should be fine. And they should accept USDT, since that’s what they pay you with. The red flags here are:
But what happens in real life if I DON’T have US$101 in the wallet ?
And why can’t I withdraw funds from my wallet at any time ?
Still the ‘work’ involved becomes clearer.
When you click the start ranking bar at the bottom, one of the logos you see above it opens up and you hit submit. That’s the work. That’s it ? Yup. easy money right ?
Now I see a glimmer of how the scam operates. You must FIRST have money in the wallet. In this case 562 USDT. So first they subtract that. Only then will you get the chance to hit Submit and get credited with the ‘profit’ of 0.7% which is 3.93. Once you do that they give you the 562 back and the commission / profit of 3.93. Well, at the moment its not my money being staked so all’s well.
But what happens if I have money but not enough to make that deposit ?
Meantime you do this repeated
'new logo’ —> deposit money —> submit —> receive deposit + commission
process 40 times.
And I do indeed. It seems I have 49 USDT. So lets take some out.
So was that clear ? Not really. But lets explore my doubts and skepticism with ‘Zoe’ . Lets check the payment currency:
So its never actual bucks, its the crypto currency USDT. Lets try and finish the cycle of 3
So of course I want to withdraw money and they want me to have 101 in the wallet before I can withdraw. So on average I need to do 3 cycles of 3 tasks to get to that. So it seemed to me.. EXCEPT:
So that’s the game. You can’t withdraw unless you have 101 USDT in there. But they won’t let you earn money to get to 101 USDT by letting you carrying out tasks unless you ALREADY have 101 USDT in there. That’s some catch-22 this one.
How do you get to 101 USDT in your wallet then ? By depositing YOUR money into that wallet of course, i.e. give THEM money to do a job. But once you put it in you can never take it out. To coin a phrase : “You can check out any time you like but you can never leave” And just to make sure you can never take money out, they have a weird clause in the T&Cs:
(6.1) Lucky combination tasks are randomly assigned by the system. There can be a maximum of 1-3 combination tasks in a task, and a maximum of 1-2 negative numbers in a combination task.
Now what are the odds that just as you come up to withdrawal eligibility, they serve up some negative numbers ! I would dearly love to find out if this is part of their game but I promised myself I would never risk any of my own money to follow these scams to the bitter and losing end.
But if enough in the community want to see the full nature of the scam then do contribute to the Tip Jar and I’ll let the scammers steal some of that so that we can delve further into the scam process.
In the meantime here are their Terms and Conditions:
They also have a total fake ‘Audit Certificate’:
We now know how the scam operates. In part 3 I confront my trainer with the issues and she loses her temper and cusses me out. Highly entertaining.
